True friends and unusual achievers are the ladies who chose to be Iota Sigma Philos.
They are eligible because of good character, possess outstanding social qualities. In addition, all Iota Sigma Philos are experts in some particular area.
The purpose of the Philo Affiliate is to improve civic and social conditions as well as join like minded ladies together. Philo Affiliates support the programs of Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority, Inc.
The ladies of the Iota Sigma Philos carry out such activities as rest home visits, voter education, donations to the needs of children, provide social improvement information, and other activities and opportunities to improve community life.
